the panel seal shall consist of mineral wool boards of minimum 144 kg per cu mtr density and 50mm thick with fire retardant coating of 1. 5 to 2. 0 mm thickness on both sides and having minimum 2 hours fire resistance . It should have been tested at cbri roorkee with following tests.

1) water absorption for 24 hours

2) accelerated ageing for 168 hours

3) fire resistance test as per is 12458, bs 476 part 20, ul 1479

4) hose stream test.
